This week for Play,Make,Create our story was called We are all equal I worked with Chrysler and we made a playground for the monkeys me and Chrysler worked well together because we both had something to do.My favourite part of the creation was the vine that me and Chrysler made because it had bananas on it and when the bananas fell of the monkey could get to it we made the bananas out of yellow card here is a picture of me and Chrysler's creation.
For Whetu challenge we made a tower out of news paper. I worked with Sol,Heidi,and Chrysler we made a big tower and then it fell so we just cut it in half and it stood i think we worked well as a team.Here is a picture of our creation at the start.

This week we did play,make,create and the story was Theodore the Unsure by Pip Smith i worked with Chrysler and we made a salon for the lion.
Today we did Play,Make,Create and i did a horse paddock cause i love horses i made the horses out of bubble wrap and then the paddock out of cardboard and then i put green crepe paper as the grass, i made the water out of bubble wrap and then an empty tape thing as the trough and i made some hay.here is a picture of my creation.by Jasmine
Term 2, Week 1 2021
During Term 1 we have been practising our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online programme called NumBots. At the start it was super easy but progressively got more challenging.
I am now on 9 on glass level of NumBots.
I enjoy NumBots because its helps you get better at maths and i am learning to get better at Numbots now that it is getting harder but i enjoy it anyway.
What I find challenging is that you have to go fast to get 3 stars and that is really hard.
I think that TTRockstars will be really fun cause you move down but you will also go back up to your higher speed i am moving down but then i moved up by 1 second i am getting better
Whetu Fun Day
Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed. Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead! We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.
My favourite part of the Amazing Race was finding the clues and sticking with my team
The rotation I enjoyed the most was mosaics i got to do it with my mum and Brianna,i did a bunny and my mum did a bunny as well.
During the Easter Egg Hunt I found my stick on a tree it was very easy.
Week 5, Term 1, 2021
Monday was our school Swimming Sports. On the day I had so much fun i love swimming
We had two art sessions this week and i am with Mrs Mac we are doing animal faces we are starting to glue our fabric pieces on our papers
In reading this week we have got three books and we sit in our homerooms at the end of the day and the teachers read to us the book is called the twits in pekapeka
Part of our maths programme is NumBots and I think I am going good i am a steel
Week 4, Term 1, 2021
The most interesting/fun thing we have done during class time this week is our rotations it is really fun i enjoy the bar graphs and working out who has the most favourite sport.
We started our art this week and I have chosen to do art with Mrs Kennedy/Miss Mac/Mrs Heaven and Mrs Loft. Our art is going to be the one with Miss Mac I choose the one with miss Mac cause I like animals and I like art as well.
We created our Whetū stars on Thursday and they look really good my mum and dad came in and my little sister came in and help me create my star I added some photos of me my mum my dad my brother and my little sister of us at the top of the mount in Tauranga.
Next week we have our school swimming sports. I am feeling really nervous but excited.

The most fun thing that I have done at a play or lunch time this year is playing on the big blue with my friends
