Case Closed

Today we finally reached The case It was Mrs Taaffe she had confession  that it was her. She was at school on the day and she had came to school to drop of some school work she had came in for her last interview this morning and said that she did it, she took the HDMI cable and took some chocolates then went to the hairdressers and got a cut and colour.She was having trouble with crome casting so she took the HDMI cable.

Athletics Reflection

This Tuesday it was Athletics and it was a big day for me.I felt really sore after I came 2nd in 100m 3rd in 200m and in 60m I came 2nd, it was really hard I dont no what i came in shot put and long jump.In shot put I got 4.75m for one of my long jump I got a no jump because my toe went over the line.  This week I chose to join the cooking workshop option.

On the first day we learned about safety when your in the kitchen and planned what we were going to make.

The second day we got all the stuff that we needed to make for vegetable soup and cut and peal the stuff and put it in the pot.

The third day we cooked the soup and eat it it was really yum

The part that I liked the most was when we tried the soup.

Egg drop challenge

Today we did a Whetu challenge it was really cool the challenge was a egg drop challenge what we had to do was you had to find a group of three then plan what your egg drop was going to look like,then one person from your group had to go get a bag of stuff.It was hard but fun I worked with Brianna there was no people left so it was just me and Brianna.Me and Brianna were planning to make a really cool egg drop but we didn't have time so we just used a sock and put news paper and string in the sock. My hanger

On Sunday I made a hanger it was really fun I got my family to join in with me and then the winners were mum,Kingston,Chloe my little sister and my dad was busy but I just let him win to I did not win a hanger from school so I just made my own one mums and chloes was accurate theirs flied far. Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Tennis Ball Tower challenge

Tennis Ball Tower Challenge

Today for our Whetu Challenge we worked in a group to build a tower out of newspaper, 2 straws and sellotape. We needed to make our tower strong enough to hold a tennis ball and be able to stand alone (not leaning on anything or needing support).

Today I worked with Brianna and shanae

At first we had trouble with sticking the tape on because it wouldnt stick

The easiest thing was making the pole bit

The best part of our tower was that it stayed up but the top diddnt stay on

Our tower looked cool

In the end our tower bit at the top broke because we ran out of time

Jasmines week 1 reflection

Week 1 Reflection

What has been my highlight this week is seeing my friends after a big lock down.

What was I nervous about this week was coming back to school.

For dress up day I dressed up as my pyjamas because it was cold and I did not have any other dress ups.

The funniest thing has has happened this week is seeing Brianna come to school in Harley Quinn.

I think the best dressed person was Brianna because she dressed up as Harley Quinn.

My milk bottle creation

The milk bottle creation I made was a cat and some finger puppets the hardest part was when I was sticking stuff on the easiest part was when I was drawing the eyes and sticking it on. I enjoyed this creation it was fun here is some pictures. by Jasmine

lockdown 2020

For my lock down I have been learning some history about New Zealand  it was really interesting and cool to learn about something new iv'e also been doing some some study ladder and time tables rock stars. I have been missing socialising with my friends and missing my sports and not being able to see my baby cousin.It has also been a sad time because we had this puppy called lettie and she had this thing called mega esophagus and she wasn't going to recover from it so she had to have mashed up food which she which she couldnt digest properly so we had to get her put down it was very sad.i also got a haircut by my mum because she is a hair dresser and she works from home so she can do my hair my brothers hair,my sisters hair and my dads hair and her hair if she wants it done.We are getting a new kitten i am so excited she is a tabby cat! here is a photo of our puppy lettie she is so cute.
